ABOUT ME: Welcome to my page! My name is Greta, and I am in my fifth year of music teaching in South Jersey! In my job, I teach K-8 general music and run two choirs, a 3/4 grade groups and a 5-8 grade group.
I largely follow music learning theory in my teaching. With this, I do a lot of student-centered projects and activities. I like to give students opportunities to be creative regardless of their musical backgrounds or interests. I also provide opportunities for students to learn different instruments, including ukulele, keyboards, and percussion instruments.
WHY A BLOG?: In addition to teaching, I have spent the last several years creating resources on TPT. I wanted to continue sharing these resources with followers BUT I also wanted to share music education related content like tips and ideas. I thought a blog would be a good way to keep this all in one place!
